Tampa Bay overcame Minnesota 26-18 in a tough game that thanks to a strong final quarter in which BJ Askew and Dexter Jackson scored touchdowns.
Buffalo recorded an impressive 20-6 victory over the Broncos in Denver. Jay Orton had a bad day at the office as he was picked off for four interceptions whilst Marshawn Lynch had a strong game for the Bills.
San Diego and Minnesota produced a thrilling game with Adrian Peterson's touchdown in overtime giving the Vikings victory. The Chargers had looked set for the win but Ryan Longwell's field goal with four seconds left ensured overtime was needed.
Jacksonville and Buffalo played out an entertaining game which saw the Jaguars run out 38-31 winners. Terrell Owens grabbed a touchdown on his Bills debut whilst Brian Williams interception TB was the pick of the Jaguars scores.
Tampa Bay and San Diego failed to shine in a match spoiled by strong winds. The Chargers eventually running out 7-3 winners thanks to a touchdown from Chris Chambers.
Kansas City defeated Jacksonville 37-24 in an entertaining match up. Jamaal Charles claimed two touchdowns for the Chiefs whilst Maurice Jones-Drew impressed for the Jaguars.
