DFL clubs go appointment crazy

The DFL have confirmed that they will be operating a 32-team competition due to the huge levels of interest in the organisation.

The last 24 hours has seen a massive influx of new owners into the league and the innaugural season is expected to start shortly. As of today there are only three clubs who have yet to appoint owners; Jacksonville Jaguars, St Louis Rams and Seattle Seahawks.

"We expected that the DFL would capture peoples attention but we have been hugely impressed by the level of interest in the league," said Commission Jim Green.

"We are now working hard to prepare for the start of the season and hope to find owners for the remaining teams in the near future."
