Exhibition season comes to an end

The Jets recorded a 22-20 win in Kansas City thanks to some good work between Mark Sanchez and Chansi Stuckey. The duo combined twice for Stuckey to claim a touchdown. Matt Cassel showed plenty of promise for the Chiefs but will be hoping for better protection after being sacked three times.

Matt Hasselback was in splendid form for the Seahawks as they beat Green Bay 30-17 on the road. The quarterback claimed a touchdown of his own as well as throwing two more. The Packers never got going until the final quarter.

The Packers had a game to forget in Cleveland, losing 26-9 to an impressive Browns outfit. It was game in which offensive blockers had a major off day with 9 sacks in total with Shaun Rogers claiming 3 for the Browns.

The Seahawks clinched a late 31-30 win over the Texans in a thrilling match. Kicker Olindo Mare was the man earning the plaudits after kicking 3 field goals, including one from over 50 yards, and the game winning extra point.

The Texans defeated Cleveland 33-17 in Houston. Brady Quinn had a bad day at the office for the Browns as he was picked off for 4 interceptions. His opposite number, Matt Schaud, had a solid game for the Texans.
