Day two of exhibitions completed

New Orleans secured a 24-20 victory over Chicago despite trailing by 10 points with just over 3 minutes left. Late TDs from Mark Bradley and Skyler Green helped the Saints, for whom Drew Brees was mighty impressive, steal the win.

The Saints made it two wins from two thanks to a 29-24 win over New England. The Patriots almost found a way back into the game thanks to two late TDs but the home side held on. Tom Brady got little protection from his teammates as he was sacked five times.

Carolina recorded an eyebrow raising victory over the Patriots at Gillette Stadium. The Panthers ran out 27-25 winners thanks in large to two touchdowns from Brad Hoover.

The Panthers could be a team to watch after defeating Philadelphia 21-19 to complete a successful exhibition season. Carolina turned the game on its head thanks to a strong third quarter and held off a brave Eagles fightback.

Philadelphia ran out comfortable 24-9 winners over Denver. The Broncos had the lions share of possession but struggled for ideas and found it tough to break down some solid Eagles defense.

The Bears recorded a fine 24-22 win over the Jets thanks to a blistering opening quarter. Jay Cutler had a mixed afternoon for Chicago but touchdowns for Forte, Hester and Clark saw them home.
